How do I sign up?
Maintaining a community pool is hard work and it can get VERY expensive. Trying to keep our rates reasonable while also raising the necessary funds to resurface Eaman Park Pool has proven to be extremely difficult. We have grown increasingly concerned about the condition and sustainability of our beloved pool and we are asking our friends, neighbors, children and anyone who has a connection to EPP to please step up to help save our pool. We will host a community wide Swim-A-Thon on Saturday, July 27th at 10am. Participants must register no later than July 15th and NON members are welcome to participate. There is a sign-up sheet available at the Guard Shack, or you may click HERE.
What is a Swim-A-Thon?
During the weeks leading up to the event, Swimmin’ for Eaman participants will seek out sponsors from their own families, friends and neighbors. These sponsors may either donate a set amount, or they may choose to pledge a specified amount per lap swam (ie. $1, $3, $5). Participants will be given a pledge form to help them through this process. On the day of the event, participants will be divided into lanes based on their age group. They will be given one hour to swim as many laps as they can muster. Participants who swim the MOST laps in each age group will win prizes. All money collected will go towards the resurfacing of Eaman Park Pool.
TOP Swimmers will be awarded prizes!
I registered, now what?
Information/Pledge forms are available for pick-up in the Guard Shack. Please just ask one of our guards between the hours of 12 noon and 5 pm. Can’t make it to the pool? Feel free to download and print the pledge sheet below. All forms should be returned the morning of the Swim-A-Thon.
